Dessa is one of the West Coast’s leading Asian art experts. Over her 25-year tenure, Dessa has brought the department to world-class stature. Her language expertise includes both Mandarin Chinese and Japanese. Drawing upon her educational background in Art History, Chinese History, Asian Studies, and Japanese, Dessa has become an expert appraiser and lecturer in Chinese, Japanese and Korean works of art.
William (Bill) L. Lee, Director of International Economic and Tourism Development, City and County of San Francisco
In April 2005, Mr. Lee completed his second term as City Administrator and was named by Mayor Gavin Newsom and Airport Director John L. Martin as the Director of International Economic and Tourism Development, as well as appointed to the Convention and Visitors Bureau board of directors. His role is to bring International corporations and visitors to San Francisco and the Bay Area. With Mr. Lee’s international contacts and expansion of Moscone Center under his watch, he is uniquely poised to bring in new business and visitors.
